Children with a visual impairment are often dependent on magnifying visual aids from school age onwards. In addition to format magnification via computer or copier, optical aids are also used for magnification. We determine and prescribe the appropriate aids after optimal basic medical and optical care.
The training takes place afterwards by the low-vision trainers of the corresponding institutions for the visually impaired. We maintain a close and collegial cooperation with them.
